Makemytrip Customer Service Complaints
If you just have a look around on the travel review websites, you are going to find out quickly that makemytrip is not a travel site worth doing business with.
There are a huge number of customers complaining about the fact that their entire tour has been ruined.
People had to go through a most stressful time, instead of actually enjoying their two-week holiday at a nice resort. It is mostly the customer service agents from make my trip who are to blame. Customers say that right before their trip, the air tickets have been cancelled without any notification. The customer agents did not rebook these tickets, and when the travelers arrived to the airport they found out about the cancelation.
Certainly, in such cases, in order to be able to travel, you need to pay again to book new tickets.
These tickets might cost up to 5 or 6 times more than the regular tickets. Once they saw themselves at the airport with family and baggage, they had no other option but to take out of pocket a lot of money and pay for these tickets.
Now how can an entire family embark happily and thrilled about their holiday, when it hasn’t even started and everything went already wrong?
The main problem, was that the customer service agents did not send the travel vouchers in time to the air company, so when people arrived at the airport they learned with stupefaction that there is no reservation in their name existent.
In such cases, you cannot even start filing complaints and taking the company to court, since you have only several days left from your holiday- and you don’t want to spend these days consulting with attorneys and filing complaints!
Avoid make my trip altogether if you want to have a peaceful and relaxing vacation.
